Window and door lettering in Caerphilly

Not always. For a single door or window, clear photos taken straight on with a tape measure in shot, plus glass sizes, are often enough for a scaled proof. A visit helps for large frontages, unusual glazing or old lettering to remove.

Yes, but it reads differently. Cut vinyl isn't lit, so after dark, with lights on inside, opaque letters can look like dark shapes against the bright interior, whatever their colour. Bold letters stay legible; thin strokes are harder to pick out from the street.

It typically takes a few weeks from first enquiry, with much of that time falling after you approve the proof, while the work is made and scheduled. Graphics and vehicle jobs are typically shorter than fabricated or illuminated signs. If advertisement consent is needed, the council's decision comes first and adds to the overall timescale.

Because jobs vary. The guide of £95 to £480 per window + VAT spans small, simple work at one end and larger, more involved work at the other. Size, material, finish, access, design time and any consent drawings push the figure up or down. A survey or artwork check lets us fix the price for your job in Caerphilly.

Yes. Our coverage is not limited to Caerphilly itself: nearby towns, industrial estates and business parks across Gwent are included too. The process does not change with the postcode. Send photos and approximate sizes, and we will tell you whether a site visit is needed before we can give you a fixed price.

No. Gold vinyl is a metallic film cut by machine and applied like other lettering, for a gilded look at lower cost. Gold leaf is real metal applied by hand, with a deeper shine. From the pavement, metallic vinyl with a black outline reads as signwriting.
