Rules for window and glass graphics in Pontypridd
Shop windows in Wales are a grey area for advertisement control, and each council takes its own view. Lettering and graphics fixed to the inside face of the glass are often outside control or permitted, yet a large design on a listed shopfront or in a conservation area may run into restrictions. For that reason we ask before anything is printed. Safety is a separate duty. Panes people could walk into must be made visible, Welsh building guidance carries the same aim, and at work regulation 14 of the 1992 Workplace Regulations requires marking where needed. Our proof shows exactly where the manifestation sits.
