A van wrap is printed cast vinyl film, protected by a clear laminate, applied over a van's factory paint to cover some or all of its panels with your branding, colours and contact details.
Points in favour of van wraps in March
- Queues on the main roads in and out of March give the driver behind you time to read a phone number on your rear doors.
- Vans left overnight on residential streets in March carry on advertising in the evenings and at weekends, when people are at home and more likely to notice.
- If you trade across Cambridgeshire as well as March, a wrapped van takes the same branding to every job without paying for advertising space.
What van wraps cost in March
Below is the guide pricing we use for van wraps: from £795 up to £3,850 per van, before VAT. These are not fixed quotes. A written price follows once measurements are taken and your artwork has been checked.
| Item | Guide, ex VAT | Inc. VAT (20%) |
|---|---|---|
| Part wrap (sides and rear) | £795 – £1,850 | £954 – £2,220 |
| Full wrap, small or medium van | £1,950 – £2,950 | £2,340 – £3,540 |
| Full wrap, long-wheelbase or high-roof van | £2,450 – £3,850 | £2,940 – £4,620 |
The main drivers are van size, how much is covered, how complex the panels are, design time and whether old graphics have to come off first. Ribbed sides and deep recesses take longer to fit. All prices exclude VAT and are confirmed after we've checked your van details and artwork.

Rules for vehicle graphics in March
Advertisement consent does not usually come into vehicle graphics. Advertisements on a vehicle normally used as a moving vehicle are outside advertisement control in England, although a vehicle parked up mainly to act as a billboard is treated differently. The rules that matter are road and registration ones. If a wrap changes the main colour, update the V5C log book with DVLA and tell your insurer. The windscreen must let through at least 75% of light and the front side windows at least 70% under the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986, so we keep graphics off them. Leased vehicles: check the lease allows graphics.
Covering March and Cambridgeshire
Jobs in March are handled the same way as jobs anywhere else in Cambridgeshire: one team, one process. If the work calls for a survey, we book a visit at a time that suits you. If photos and sizes will do, we quote from those and skip the visit altogether. In postcode terms, March jobs typically fall in PE15. March lies around 14 miles east of Peterborough.
