Frosted window film is a translucent, etch-effect self-adhesive film that blurs the view through glass while still letting daylight pass, giving the look of sandblasted glass without replacing it.

- For salons and spas in Bishops Stortford, banded or patterned frost screens treatment rooms while reception still feels light.
- Where serviced offices in Bishops Stortford change layouts often, removable film lets meeting rooms be rebranded without replacing any glass.
- In a listed Bishops Stortford building, we ask the council before frosting historic windows, as altering their look can need consent.

| Frosted film with cut-out design, per m² | £45 – £68 | £54 – £81.60 |

Pane count, design detail, high glazing needing a tower, and old film to remove all move the figure; the price is confirmed after survey and design approval.

Rules for window and glass graphics in Bishops Stortford
Two sets of rules can touch glass graphics in England. The first is advertisement control: lettering and graphics on the inside of a shop window are often outside it or allowed, but councils differ, and conservation areas and listed shopfronts can bring restrictions on large graphics. The second is safety. Approved Document K points to manifestation bands at 850–1000 mm and 1400–1600 mm from the floor, and in workplaces regulation 14 of the 1992 Workplace Regulations requires glazing to be marked where needed. We take both into account when we set out the proof, and we check with the council where the building or street calls for it.
