Glass manifestation in Bishops Stortford

Tell us the date when you enquire and we will say plainly whether it looks realistic. Timescales typically depend on how soon the proof is approved, how long production takes and whether consent is needed, which can take several weeks on its own. We plan around your date where we can, but we do not promise one we cannot control.

Yes. We start from the guide range, £65 to £180 per pane excluding VAT, then measure up or look at your photos and artwork. That gives a fixed written price reflecting the real size, materials, access and any design or consent work. You only commit once you accept that price and approve the proof.

Usually not as a lasting answer. Tape and stickers are a stopgap: they peel, fade and often cover only one height or part of the width. Durable film markings running across the glass in both zones are far more likely to be noticed.

England's Approved Document K suggests two zones: 850–1000 mm and 1400–1600 mm above floor level. Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own building guidance with the same aim. We measure from the finished floor and set markings within those bands across each pane.

The work on site is done by installers working under our contract, and anything that needs making is produced by specialist fabricators. You deal with Smart Signs throughout: we take the enquiry, survey, prepare the design and quote, check consent and coordinate the fitting, so there is one point of contact from first message to handover.

Yes. Film markings are warmed, peeled away and the glass cleaned of adhesive. Many leases require tenant branding to be removed, but the landlord may want the glass left marked for safety, so check what the lease expects; branded markings can be swapped for plain dots.
