How do I get a quote for window and door lettering in Nairn?

Use the quote form, phone or WhatsApp and include a few photos, rough sizes and any logo files you have. We check the details, arrange a survey where one is needed, then send a fixed written price with a design drawn to scale. The quote is free, and nothing is made until you approve it.

Can you match the lettering on our sign?

Usually, yes. Send the font name if you know it, or a clear photo of the existing sign, and we'll match or redraw the letterforms and colour so door, window and fascia look like one set. Vector logo files help too.

Can I get a fixed price for window and door lettering in Nairn before committing?

Yes. We start from the guide range, £95 to £480 per window excluding VAT, then measure up or look at your photos and artwork. That gives a fixed written price reflecting the real size, materials, access and any design or consent work. You only commit once you accept that price and approve the proof.

What is the typical timescale for window and door lettering from enquiry to fitting?

A quote typically follows once we have your photos or have surveyed the site, and making and fitting is typically booked a few weeks after you approve the proof. Where advertisement consent applies, that decision has to come through before anything goes up, which can add several weeks. We give you an expected timescale with your quote for Nairn.

Can people read window lettering at night?

Yes, but it reads differently. Cut vinyl isn't lit, so after dark, with lights on inside, opaque letters can look like dark shapes against the bright interior, whatever their colour. Bold letters stay legible; thin strokes are harder to pick out from the street.

How much does door lettering cost?

Rules for window and glass graphics in Nairn

Scottish planning authorities vary on whether window graphics count as advertisements. Much internal vinyl is outside control or allowed, but a conservation area or listed frontage can restrict larger graphics, and listed building consent may be relevant too. Safety is the other consideration. Scotland's building standards have their own guidance on making glazing visible, while in workplaces the 1992 Workplace Regulations (regulation 14) require marking where necessary. Before the proof for window and door lettering is approved, we confirm the heights for any manifestation and raise any planning point with you.
