Is there a guide price for window and door lettering in Wrexham?

Yes: £95–£480 per window + VAT is our guide range. It is not a fixed quote, because no two jobs are the same size or on the same surface. The area covered, materials, the number of letters or panels, removal of anything old and access all change the figure, which we confirm after seeing the site or artwork.

What is the typical timescale for window and door lettering from enquiry to fitting?

A quote typically follows once we have your photos or have surveyed the site, and making and fitting is typically booked a few weeks after you approve the proof. Where advertisement consent applies, that decision has to come through before anything goes up, which can add several weeks. We give you an expected timescale with your quote for Wrexham.

Do you work across Clwyd or only in Wrexham?

Across all of Clwyd, and the rest of the UK too. Wrexham is simply one of the places we list, and enquiries from anywhere nearby follow exactly the same steps: photos or a survey, a scaled proof, a written price, then making and fitting once you sign off the design.

Do you need to visit before fitting?

Not always. For a single door or window, clear photos taken straight on with a tape measure in shot, plus glass sizes, are often enough for a scaled proof. A visit helps for large frontages, unusual glazing or old lettering to remove.

How much does door lettering cost?

Door lettering with opening hours has a guide price of £95–£245 + VAT, supplied and fitted, and a full window set £195–£480 + VAT. Gold or metallic vinyl adds a guide £30–£120 + VAT. The price is confirmed once we see photos and wording.

How long does door lettering take to fit?

Not long on site. A door set with a name and opening hours typically takes under an hour once the glass is clean, and a full window set a few hours, depending on the amount of text and any old lettering to remove.

Rules for window and glass graphics in Wrexham

Often the bigger question with glass is safety rather than planning. Glazing that people could walk into must be marked so it is visible, and in workplaces the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 (regulation 14) require it where necessary; the building guidance used in Wales shares that aim. Planning can still matter. Councils in Wales treat window graphics in different ways, and large graphics on listed shopfronts or within conservation areas may be restricted, even though internal graphics are often allowed. We check with you before anything is printed or cut.
