Window lettering is text or simple logos cut from self-adhesive vinyl, with no background film, applied to glass doors and windows to show a name, opening hours and contact details.
Where window and door lettering can pay off in Rhyl
- Barbers and cafés on a Rhyl high street need clear opening hours, as many customers pass first and return later.
- When a Rhyl business changes its number or hours, one line of vinyl is swapped rather than the whole door.
- Clinics in Rhyl, from dentists to physiotherapists, can show the practice name, hours and phone line clearly on the door.

Rules for window and glass graphics in Rhyl
Shop windows in Wales are a grey area for advertisement control, and each council takes its own view. Lettering and graphics fixed to the inside face of the glass are often outside control or permitted, yet a large design on a listed shopfront or in a conservation area may run into restrictions. For that reason we ask before anything is printed. Safety is a separate duty. Panes people could walk into must be made visible, Welsh building guidance carries the same aim, and at work regulation 14 of the 1992 Workplace Regulations requires marking where needed. Our proof shows exactly where the manifestation sits.
Covering Rhyl and Clwyd
Coverage is nationwide, which means Rhyl and the surrounding parts of Clwyd are included as standard. Anything fixed to a building normally needs someone on site to measure and check fixings and access; simpler graphics can usually be quoted from images you send. The Rhyl postcode districts we quote for include LL18. Rhyl lies around 28 miles north-west of Wrexham.
