Rules for window and glass graphics in Forfar
Two questions, two sets of rules. On whether window graphics count as advertising, Scottish councils take differing approaches; internal graphics are often outside control or allowed, but large graphics on listed shopfronts or in conservation areas can be restricted. On safety, glazing that could be walked into must be marked, which Scotland's own building guidance addresses and which the Workplace Regulations 1992 (regulation 14) require at work where necessary. We check with the council when the building or street calls for it, and set the marking heights out on the proof for window and door lettering.
