Window graphics are full-colour images or branding printed on self-adhesive vinyl and applied to glass, outside or reverse-printed for the inside, so the window works as a sign.
Good reasons to look at window graphics in Rotherham
- Seasonal sales in Rotherham are simpler to promote when a fixed-size window panel is just reprinted for each campaign.
- Shoppers on a Rotherham high street decide in seconds whether to step in; a printed window tells them what you sell.
- Cafés and takeaways in Rotherham trading into the evening can leave clear areas so the lit interior still shows.

Rules for window and glass graphics in Rotherham
Window graphics are something councils treat in different ways. Graphics applied inside the glass are often outside advertisement control or allowed without an application, but large graphics on a listed shopfront or in a conservation area can be restricted, so we check first. Manifestation is a separate matter of safety rather than advertising: glazing that people could walk into must be made visible. In England, Approved Document K suggests marking two zones, 850–1000 mm and 1400–1600 mm above floor level, and the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992, regulation 14, require transparent surfaces to be marked where necessary for safety.
