What do you need from me to quote for window graphics in Keynsham?

Photos are the most useful start: the whole frontage, window or vehicle, plus a close-up of the area involved. Add rough measurements, your logo or artwork if you have it, and the address. From that we can say whether a survey visit is needed and send a written quote, followed by a proof for you to approve.

Will the location in Keynsham affect the cost of window graphics?

Location is one factor among several, alongside size, material, access equipment and design time. Our guide range is £28–£58 per m² + VAT; any travel, parking or access costs for your site in Keynsham are included in the written quote we confirm after a survey or artwork check, so you can see them before you commit.

Can you see out through window graphics?

Not through standard printed vinyl, which is solid. For a view out, perforated one-way vision film lets people inside see the street while passers-by see your print. It works when it's brighter outside; after dark, with lights on inside, the effect reverses.

Will window graphics damage the glass?

Normally not. Window film adhesives release when warmed, and any residue cleans off the glass. The exceptions are coated or specialist glass, where we follow the maker's guidance, and dark films on large sunny panes, which can stress some glass.

Do we have to close for fitting?

Usually not. A single shopfront is typically fitted in a few hours once the glass is clean, and the fitter needs only a clear strip by the window. Large or high frontages take longer, and the work can usually be booked before opening or after closing.

Could the consent process affect the timing of my job in Keynsham?

It can. Not every job needs an application, but where express consent is required the council's decision typically takes several weeks, and fitting typically waits until it is granted. We check this at the start, so the timetable you receive with your quote allows for consent where it applies, along with the proof approval stage.

Rules for window and glass graphics in Keynsham

Two sets of rules can touch glass graphics in England. The first is advertisement control: lettering and graphics on the inside of a shop window are often outside it or allowed, but councils differ, and conservation areas and listed shopfronts can bring restrictions on large graphics. The second is safety. Approved Document K points to manifestation bands at 850–1000 mm and 1400–1600 mm from the floor, and in workplaces regulation 14 of the 1992 Workplace Regulations requires glazing to be marked where needed. We take both into account when we set out the proof, and we check with the council where the building or street calls for it.
