Window graphics in Dumfries

Guide pricing runs from £28 to £58 per m², plus VAT. The main things that move it are dimensions, the material and finish, illumination where relevant, how high the work is and whether a scaffold or platform is needed. Your written quote, issued after a survey or a check of your artwork, replaces the guide figure.

Typically within a few weeks, depending on what has to be made. Printed and cut graphics are typically produced sooner than fabricated letters, trays or illuminated signs, which need more fabrication time. If the job needs advertisement consent, fitting waits for the council's decision. We confirm an expected date for Dumfries once materials are ordered.

Not through standard printed vinyl, which is solid. For a view out, perforated one-way vision film lets people inside see the street while passers-by see your print. It works when it's brighter outside; after dark, with lights on inside, the effect reverses.

Normally not. Window film adhesives release when warmed, and any residue cleans off the glass. The exceptions are coated or specialist glass, where we follow the maker's guidance, and dark films on large sunny panes, which can stress some glass.

Yes. Smart Signs covers Dumfries and the rest of Dumfries and Galloway as part of a UK-wide service. You send photos and rough sizes, we arrange a survey if the job needs one, then you receive a proof to scale and a fixed written price. Nothing is made or fitted until you have approved both.

Usually not. A single shopfront is typically fitted in a few hours once the glass is clean, and the fitter needs only a clear strip by the window. Large or high frontages take longer, and the work can usually be booked before opening or after closing.
