If the job needs it, yes. For signs fixed to a building, anything illuminated or work at height, we arrange a survey to measure, check the wall and plan access. For window graphics, lettering and many vehicle jobs, clear photos with measurements are often enough, and we only visit if something needs a closer look.

The usual causes are artwork changes after the proof stage, waiting for consent, access arrangements such as a council licence for scaffolding on the pavement, and weather for outdoor fitting. Jobs typically run smoothly once the proof is approved and any consent is in place, but we do not promise dates that depend on things outside our control.

Normally not. Window film adhesives release when warmed, and any residue cleans off the glass. The exceptions are coated or specialist glass, where we follow the maker's guidance, and dark films on large sunny panes, which can stress some glass.

Usually not. A single shopfront is typically fitted in a few hours once the glass is clean, and the fitter needs only a clear strip by the window. Large or high frontages take longer, and the work can usually be booked before opening or after closing.

As big as the pane. Film comes on rolls, so glass wider than a roll is printed in panels and joined with a slight overlap where the design hides it. The proof shows where every join falls before anything is printed.

No. Our guide range of £28–£58 per m² excludes VAT, which is added to the quote. The final figure depends on size, materials, access, removal of existing signage or graphics and the artwork needed, and we confirm it in writing after a survey or once we have checked your files.
