Could the consent process affect the timing of my job in Wisbech?

It can. Not every job needs an application, but where express consent is required the council's decision typically takes several weeks, and fitting typically waits until it is granted. We check this at the start, so the timetable you receive with your quote allows for consent where it applies, along with the proof approval stage.

Can you remove a previous tenant's graphics?

Yes. Old vinyl is warmed and peeled, and leftover adhesive is cleaned off so new graphics bond properly. Removal has a guide price of £6–£15 per m² + VAT, depending on the film's age, confirmed after survey, and can be done in the same visit.

Will the location in Wisbech affect the cost of window graphics?

Location is one factor among several, alongside size, material, access equipment and design time. Our guide range is £28–£58 per m² + VAT; any travel, parking or access costs for your site in Wisbech are included in the written quote we confirm after a survey or artwork check, so you can see them before you commit.

Can graphics go on a glass door too?

Yes, and the door is often where people look first. We keep graphics clear of the handle and push plate, laminate anything on the outside face, and leave a clear area at eye level if staff need to see who's coming in.

Is Wisbech inside your coverage area for window graphics?

It is. We work throughout the UK rather than in a single region, so Wisbech and every part of Cambridgeshire are included. Where a survey is needed we arrange a visit; for graphics jobs we can often quote from photos and measurements. Either way, you get a proof and a written price first.

Do we have to close for fitting?

Usually not. A single shopfront is typically fitted in a few hours once the glass is clean, and the fitter needs only a clear strip by the window. Large or high frontages take longer, and the work can usually be booked before opening or after closing.

Rules for window and glass graphics in Wisbech

Most businesses ask two things about glass: do I need permission, and does it need marking? On permission, councils in England take differing views on window graphics; inside-the-glass work is often outside control or allowed, while big graphics on listed shopfronts or in conservation areas can be restricted. We check before you commit. On marking, Approved Document K recommends manifestation at 850–1000 mm and 1400–1600 mm above floor level on glazing people could walk into, and the Workplace Regulations 1992 (regulation 14) cover transparent surfaces at work. Our proof shows the heights, so you can see the result before anything is cut.
