Do you cover smaller places near Prestwick as well?

Yes. Our coverage is not limited to Prestwick itself: nearby towns, industrial estates and business parks across Ayrshire are included too. The process does not change with the postcode. Send photos and approximate sizes, and we will tell you whether a site visit is needed before we can give you a fixed price.

Does the price of window graphics in Prestwick include VAT?

No. Our guide range of £28–£58 per m² excludes VAT, which is added to the quote. The final figure depends on size, materials, access, removal of existing signage or graphics and the artwork needed, and we confirm it in writing after a survey or once we have checked your files.

What is the typical timescale for window graphics from enquiry to fitting?

A quote typically follows once we have your photos or have surveyed the site, and making and fitting is typically booked a few weeks after you approve the proof. Where advertisement consent applies, that decision has to come through before anything goes up, which can add several weeks. We give you an expected timescale with your quote for Prestwick.

Will window graphics damage the glass?

Normally not. Window film adhesives release when warmed, and any residue cleans off the glass. The exceptions are coated or specialist glass, where we follow the maker's guidance, and dark films on large sunny panes, which can stress some glass.

Do we have to close for fitting?

Usually not. A single shopfront is typically fitted in a few hours once the glass is clean, and the fitter needs only a clear strip by the window. Large or high frontages take longer, and the work can usually be booked before opening or after closing.

Can you match our brand colours?

Closely, in most cases. Print builds colour from a small set of inks, so some vivid oranges, greens and metallics can't be matched exactly. Send your brand colour references; for a critical colour, we can print a sample to compare first.

Rules for window and glass graphics in Prestwick

Scottish planning authorities vary on whether window graphics count as advertisements. Much internal vinyl is outside control or allowed, but a conservation area or listed frontage can restrict larger graphics, and listed building consent may be relevant too. Safety is the other consideration. Scotland's building standards have their own guidance on making glazing visible, while in workplaces the 1992 Workplace Regulations (regulation 14) require marking where necessary. Before the proof for window graphics is approved, we confirm the heights for any manifestation and raise any planning point with you.
