What can delay wall graphics and murals in Llanelli?

The usual causes are artwork changes after the proof stage, waiting for consent, access arrangements such as a council licence for scaffolding on the pavement, and weather for outdoor fitting. Jobs typically run smoothly once the proof is approved and any consent is in place, but we do not promise dates that depend on things outside our control.

How do you clean wall graphics?

Wipe them with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry. Avoid abrasive pads, solvent cleaners and scrubbing at edges. Laminated vinyl handles regular cleaning well, which is why it suits busy corridors, gyms and schools; wallpaper murals need a gentler touch.

Can wall graphics go on an outside wall?

Sometimes, but it's a different job. Outside walls need weather- and UV-resistant materials, and a branded graphic counts as an advertisement, so consent may be needed; we check first. A printed panel fixed to the wall often outlasts vinyl on rough masonry.

What is the price of wall graphics and murals for a business in Llanelli?

Guide pricing runs from £38 to £82 per m², plus VAT. The main things that move it are dimensions, the material and finish, illumination where relevant, how high the work is and whether a scaffold or platform is needed. Your written quote, issued after a survey or a check of your artwork, replaces the guide figure.

Will someone visit my premises in Llanelli before quoting?

If the job needs it, yes. For signs fixed to a building, anything illuminated or work at height, we arrange a survey to measure, check the wall and plan access. For window graphics, lettering and many vehicle jobs, clear photos with measurements are often enough, and we only visit if something needs a closer look.

Can graphics go around corners and doors?

Yes. Printed graphics are designed to the exact wall layout, so an image can run around an external corner, frame a doorway or continue above it. The artwork is planned so faces and text don't fall across a corner, light switch or door frame.

Wall graphics and murals in Dyfed: permission and rules

Graphics on interior walls usually fall outside advertisement control, so planning consent is rarely the question indoors. The checks are fire performance in escape routes, your lease, and listed status: listed building consent covers interiors too, so ask the council before fixing to historic surfaces. A branded graphic on an outside wall is normally treated as an advertisement; in England it falls under the 2007 regulations, and large graphics may need express consent. Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own rules. If consent is needed, we can prepare the drawings and photos or submit the application for you.
