Van wraps in Hinckley

Wrapping needs a clean, dry, covered space at a reasonable temperature, because dust and damp affect how the film sticks. If you have a suitable unit or garage with room to walk around the van, fitting can often happen there; otherwise we agree a location with you. A full wrap typically keeps the van off the road for 1–3 days.

A wrap follows the surface it's on, so dents and deep scratches still show through, and rust keeps spreading underneath. Poor resprays and failing lacquer are the bigger risk, because they can lift when the wrap is removed later. We check the paint before quoting and suggest any repairs that should happen first.

Tell us the date when you enquire and we will say plainly whether it looks realistic. Timescales typically depend on how soon the proof is approved, how long production takes and whether consent is needed, which can take several weeks on its own. We plan around your date where we can, but we do not promise one we cannot control.

Yes, on the rear windows, using perforated one-way vision film that lets the driver see out while passers-by see the print. It's used on vans with two exterior mirrors. The windscreen and front side windows must let through at least 75 per cent and 70 per cent of light respectively, so we keep graphics off those.

Guide pricing runs from £795 to £3,850 per van, plus VAT. The main things that move it are dimensions, the material and finish, illumination where relevant, how high the work is and whether a scaffold or platform is needed. Your written quote, issued after a survey or a check of your artwork, replaces the guide figure.

Yes. Smart Signs covers Hinckley and the rest of Leicestershire as part of a UK-wide service. You send photos and rough sizes, we arrange a survey if the job needs one, then you receive a proof to scale and a fixed written price. Nothing is made or fitted until you have approved both.
