A van wrap is printed cast vinyl film, protected by a clear laminate, applied over a van's factory paint to cover some or all of its panels with your branding, colours and contact details.
Good reasons to look at van wraps in Altrincham
- Every day your van spends parked outside a customer's house in Altrincham is a day the neighbours see your name, services and number at eye level.
- A firm just starting out in Altrincham can look properly set up from the first job with a wrap rather than a magnetic sign on the door.
- Vans left overnight on residential streets in Altrincham carry on advertising in the evenings and at weekends, when people are at home and more likely to notice.
What van wraps cost in Altrincham
Prices below are guides, not quotes: £795 to £3,850 per van plus VAT, depending on size, materials and access. We confirm the exact figure after a survey or an artwork check, and it is agreed before anything is made.
| Item | Guide, ex VAT | Inc. VAT (20%) |
|---|---|---|
| Part wrap (sides and rear) | £795 – £1,850 | £954 – £2,220 |
| Full wrap, small or medium van | £1,950 – £2,950 | £2,340 – £3,540 |
| Full wrap, long-wheelbase or high-roof van | £2,450 – £3,850 | £2,940 – £4,620 |
The main drivers are van size, how much is covered, how complex the panels are, design time and whether old graphics have to come off first. Ribbed sides and deep recesses take longer to fit. All prices exclude VAT and are confirmed after we've checked your van details and artwork.
Options for your Altrincham project
Full wrap
Almost every painted exterior panel covered, for a new colour or an end-to-end design.
Colour change plus graphics
Plain coloured film over the whole van, with printed or cut graphics on top.
Gloss, satin or matt laminate
The laminate finish changes how colours look and how easily the van wipes clean.
Rules for vehicle graphics in Altrincham
Advertisement consent does not usually come into vehicle graphics. Advertisements on a vehicle normally used as a moving vehicle are outside advertisement control in England, although a vehicle parked up mainly to act as a billboard is treated differently. The rules that matter are road and registration ones. If a wrap changes the main colour, update the V5C log book with DVLA and tell your insurer. The windscreen must let through at least 75% of light and the front side windows at least 70% under the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986, so we keep graphics off them. Leased vehicles: check the lease allows graphics.
