Vinyl needs dry conditions and reasonable temperatures to stick properly, so outdoor fitting depends on the weather; if it's wet or very cold, we'll suggest a covered space or another date.

Manufacturers commonly rate quality cast vinyl for around 5–7 years on vertical surfaces such as van sides. Polymeric cut vinyl costs less and has a shorter rated life, which can suit a van you'll change in a few years. Sun exposure and washing habits matter, and lettering on a bonnet ages faster than lettering on the sides.

Guide pricing runs from £245 to £895 per van, plus VAT. The main things that move it are dimensions, the material and finish, illumination where relevant, how high the work is and whether a scaffold or platform is needed. Your written quote, issued after a survey or a check of your artwork, replaces the guide figure.
