Cut vinyl is solid-colour film cut by a plotter into letters and shapes, then weeded and applied, so it's crisp, durable and economical for text. Printed graphics are inks on white film, laminated, and used where a logo has gradients, photos or many colours. Many vans combine both: cut lettering with one printed logo panel.

Vinyl needs dry conditions and reasonable temperatures to stick properly, so outdoor fitting depends on the weather; if it's wet or very cold, we'll suggest a covered space or another date.

No. Our guide range of £245–£895 per van excludes VAT, which is added to the quote. The final figure depends on size, materials, access, removal of existing signage or graphics and the artwork needed, and we confirm it in writing after a survey or once we have checked your files.

Photos are the most useful start: the whole frontage, window or vehicle, plus a close-up of the area involved. Add rough measurements, your logo or artwork if you have it, and the address. From that we can say whether a survey visit is needed and send a written quote, followed by a proof for you to approve.

A small van has room for a clear business name, a short services line and a large phone number on each side, plus the name and number on the rear doors. Squeezing in a long list of services makes everything smaller, so we'll suggest which words to keep.
