Illuminated projecting signs in Great Sankey

Making and fitting typically takes 3–5 weeks after you approve the proof. Allow for advertisement consent first, usually up to 8 weeks for a decision, plus any highway licence, which runs on the authority's own timetable. Applications can be prepared in parallel.

Yes. We start from the guide range, £695 to £2,250 per sign excluding VAT, then measure up or look at your photos and artwork. That gives a fixed written price reflecting the real size, materials, access and any design or consent work. You only commit once you accept that price and approve the proof.

Sometimes, but expect extra scrutiny. You'll usually need listed building consent as well as advertisement consent, and councils may favour halo-lit or externally lit designs and traditional brackets on historic frontages. Cable routes and fixings are planned to avoid damaging historic fabric.

There's no single UK figure. It depends on pavement width, clear height, the council's shopfront guidance and the highway authority's view. Lit projecting signs are usually modest, stopping well short of the kerb, and the survey records the pavement width for the drawings.

Tell us the date when you enquire and we will say plainly whether it looks realistic. Timescales typically depend on how soon the proof is approved, how long production takes and whether consent is needed, which can take several weeks on its own. We plan around your date where we can, but we do not promise one we cannot control.

Yes. Our coverage is not limited to Great Sankey itself: nearby towns, industrial estates and business parks across Cheshire are included too. The process does not change with the postcode. Send photos and approximate sizes, and we will tell you whether a site visit is needed before we can give you a fixed price.
