Glass manifestation in Downpatrick

The work on site is done by installers working under our contract, and anything that needs making is produced by specialist fabricators. You deal with Smart Signs throughout: we take the enquiry, survey, prepare the design and quote, check consent and coordinate the fitting, so there is one point of contact from first message to handover.

Yes, though it varies with the job. The lead time typically runs from the day you approve the proof, not from the first enquiry, and is typically a few weeks. Survey visits, artwork changes and any consent application sit before that point, so getting photos, sizes and logo files to us early typically shortens the overall timescale.

Yes: £65–£180 per pane + VAT is our guide range. It is not a fixed quote, because no two jobs are the same size or on the same surface. The area covered, materials, the number of letters or panels, removal of anything old and access all change the figure, which we confirm after seeing the site or artwork.

A floor of glazed meeting rooms is typically marked in a few hours to a day, depending on pane count and design. Dots and bands go on faster than logos or patterns, and evening or weekend visits can usually be arranged.

Yes, if it does the job. A logo repeated across both zones, solid enough to notice and contrasting with what's behind the glass, can work. A small, faint logo in one spot usually isn't enough, so it's often paired with a band.

England's Approved Document K suggests two zones: 850–1000 mm and 1400–1600 mm above floor level. Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own building guidance with the same aim. We measure from the finished floor and set markings within those bands across each pane.
