How long does it take to get glass manifestation in Dundee?

It typically takes a few weeks from first enquiry, with much of that time falling after you approve the proof, while the work is made and scheduled. Graphics and vehicle jobs are typically shorter than fabricated or illuminated signs. If advertisement consent is needed, the council's decision comes first and adds to the overall timescale.

Can our logo be used as manifestation?

Yes, if it does the job. A logo repeated across both zones, solid enough to notice and contrasting with what's behind the glass, can work. A small, faint logo in one spot usually isn't enough, so it's often paired with a band.

What height should glass manifestation be?

England's Approved Document K suggests two zones: 850–1000 mm and 1400–1600 mm above floor level. Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own building guidance with the same aim. We measure from the finished floor and set markings within those bands across each pane.

Do you work across Angus and Dundee or only in Dundee?

Across all of Angus and Dundee, and the rest of the UK too. Dundee is simply one of the places we list, and enquiries from anywhere nearby follow exactly the same steps: photos or a survey, a scaled proof, a written price, then making and fitting once you sign off the design.

Will the location in Dundee affect the cost of glass manifestation?

Location is one factor among several, alongside size, material, access equipment and design time. Our guide range is £65–£180 per pane + VAT; any travel, parking or access costs for your site in Dundee are included in the written quote we confirm after a survey or artwork check, so you can see them before you commit.

How long does it take to mark an office?

A floor of glazed meeting rooms is typically marked in a few hours to a day, depending on pane count and design. Dots and bands go on faster than logos or patterns, and evening or weekend visits can usually be arranged.

Why choose glass manifestation in Angus and Dundee?

Where a Dundee building has a glazed stairwell or atrium, access to every pane is planned at the survey.
Restaurants in Dundee with glass screens between tables can use subtle frosted patterns that mark the glass without blocking views.

Rules for window and glass graphics in Angus and Dundee

Two questions, two sets of rules. On whether window graphics count as advertising, Scottish councils take differing approaches; internal graphics are often outside control or allowed, but large graphics on listed shopfronts or in conservation areas can be restricted. On safety, glazing that could be walked into must be marked, which Scotland's own building guidance addresses and which the Workplace Regulations 1992 (regulation 14) require at work where necessary. We check with the council when the building or street calls for it, and set the marking heights out on the proof for glass manifestation.

Options worth considering

Etch-effect dots in both zones.
