Usually inside, on the room side, where it's protected from weather and easy to clean. On double-glazed units only the exposed faces can be filmed, so the room side is the norm. Outdoor-grade films exist for glass that can't be reached from inside.

Very nearly. From normal viewing distances, a good etch-effect film looks like sandblasted or acid-etched glass; up close, the film edge and a slight sheen can give it away. Unlike etching, it goes onto existing glass and can be removed or changed later.

If the job needs it, yes. For signs fixed to a building, anything illuminated or work at height, we arrange a survey to measure, check the wall and plan access. For window graphics, lettering and many vehicle jobs, clear photos with measurements are often enough, and we only visit if something needs a closer look.

Yes. We start from the guide range, £32 to £68 per m² excluding VAT, then measure up or look at your photos and artwork. That gives a fixed written price reflecting the real size, materials, access and any design or consent work. You only commit once you accept that price and approve the proof.

A few meeting rooms are typically fitted in a day once the glass is clean. Long partition runs, intricate cut designs or high glazing take longer. Fitting can often be arranged early, late or at weekends so meetings carry on as normal.

Fitting is typically scheduled once three things are in place: you have approved the proof, the materials are made or delivered, and any consent the job needs has been granted. For many jobs that is typically a few weeks from approval; illuminated or larger fabricated signs typically take longer, and consent decisions run to their own timetable.
