Will someone visit my premises in Nether Edge before quoting?

If the job needs it, yes. For signs fixed to a building, anything illuminated or work at height, we arrange a survey to measure, check the wall and plan access. For window graphics, lettering and many vehicle jobs, clear photos with measurements are often enough, and we only visit if something needs a closer look.

How long does it take to get frosted window film in Nether Edge?

It typically takes a few weeks from first enquiry, with much of that time falling after you approve the proof, while the work is made and scheduled. Graphics and vehicle jobs are typically shorter than fabricated or illuminated signs. If advertisement consent is needed, the council's decision comes first and adds to the overall timescale.

Will the location in Nether Edge affect the cost of frosted window film?

Location is one factor among several, alongside size, material, access equipment and design time. Our guide range is £32–£68 per m² + VAT; any travel, parking or access costs for your site in Nether Edge are included in the written quote we confirm after a survey or artwork check, so you can see them before you commit.

Does frosted film go inside or outside?

Usually inside, on the room side, where it's protected from weather and easy to clean. On double-glazed units only the exposed faces can be filmed, so the room side is the norm. Outdoor-grade films exist for glass that can't be reached from inside.

Is frosted film suitable for washrooms?

Yes, it's a common use. Choose a denser film for full privacy, especially in rooms used after dark. Condensation doesn't harm properly fitted film, but wipe it down and keep the room ventilated so the edges aren't left wet for long periods.

How long does office fitting take?

A few meeting rooms are typically fitted in a day once the glass is clean. Long partition runs, intricate cut designs or high glazing take longer. Fitting can often be arranged early, late or at weekends so meetings carry on as normal.

Rules for window and glass graphics in Nether Edge

Two sets of rules can touch glass graphics in England. The first is advertisement control: lettering and graphics on the inside of a shop window are often outside it or allowed, but councils differ, and conservation areas and listed shopfronts can bring restrictions on large graphics. The second is safety. Approved Document K points to manifestation bands at 850–1000 mm and 1400–1600 mm from the floor, and in workplaces regulation 14 of the 1992 Workplace Regulations requires glazing to be marked where needed. We take both into account when we set out the proof, and we check with the council where the building or street calls for it.
