Frosted window film in Ormskirk

Very nearly. From normal viewing distances, a good etch-effect film looks like sandblasted or acid-etched glass; up close, the film edge and a slight sheen can give it away. Unlike etching, it goes onto existing glass and can be removed or changed later.

A few meeting rooms are typically fitted in a day once the glass is clean. Long partition runs, intricate cut designs or high glazing take longer. Fitting can often be arranged early, late or at weekends so meetings carry on as normal.

Not by itself. Decorative frosted film is a privacy finish, not a safety film, and shouldn't be relied on to hold broken glass together; that needs safety glass or a film made for the purpose. Frosted bands can, though, help make clear glass more visible.

It is. We work throughout the UK rather than in a single region, so Ormskirk and every part of Lancashire are included. Where a survey is needed we arrange a visit; for graphics jobs we can often quote from photos and measurements. Either way, you get a proof and a written price first.

A quote typically follows once we have your photos or have surveyed the site, and making and fitting is typically booked a few weeks after you approve the proof. Where advertisement consent applies, that decision has to come through before anything goes up, which can add several weeks. We give you an expected timescale with your quote for Ormskirk.

Guide pricing runs from £32 to £68 per m², plus VAT. The main things that move it are dimensions, the material and finish, illumination where relevant, how high the work is and whether a scaffold or platform is needed. Your written quote, issued after a survey or a check of your artwork, replaces the guide figure.
