Frosted window film is a translucent, etch-effect self-adhesive film that blurs the view through glass while still letting daylight pass, giving the look of sandblasted glass without replacing it.
Practical reasons to consider frosted window film in Haddington
- Ground-floor offices on a Haddington street can frost the lower half of each window, keeping desks private while daylight comes in above.
- Clinics, dental surgeries and therapy rooms in Haddington can use frosted film to protect patient privacy without dust-gathering blinds.
- Where serviced offices in Haddington change layouts often, removable film lets meeting rooms be rebranded without replacing any glass.

Rules for window and glass graphics in Haddington
Scottish planning authorities vary on whether window graphics count as advertisements. Much internal vinyl is outside control or allowed, but a conservation area or listed frontage can restrict larger graphics, and listed building consent may be relevant too. Safety is the other consideration. Scotland's building standards have their own guidance on making glazing visible, while in workplaces the 1992 Workplace Regulations (regulation 14) require marking where necessary. Before the proof for frosted window film is approved, we confirm the heights for any manifestation and raise any planning point with you.
