Frosted window film in Crowborough

The usual causes are artwork changes after the proof stage, waiting for consent, access arrangements such as a council licence for scaffolding on the pavement, and weather for outdoor fitting. Jobs typically run smoothly once the proof is approved and any consent is in place, but we do not promise dates that depend on things outside our control.

It is. We work throughout the UK rather than in a single region, so Crowborough and every part of East Sussex are included. Where a survey is needed we arrange a visit; for graphics jobs we can often quote from photos and measurements. Either way, you get a proof and a written price first.

Very nearly. From normal viewing distances, a good etch-effect film looks like sandblasted or acid-etched glass; up close, the film edge and a slight sheen can give it away. Unlike etching, it goes onto existing glass and can be removed or changed later.

No. Our guide range of £32–£68 per m² excludes VAT, which is added to the quote. The final figure depends on size, materials, access, removal of existing signage or graphics and the artwork needed, and we confirm it in writing after a survey or once we have checked your files.

Yes, it's a common use. Choose a denser film for full privacy, especially in rooms used after dark. Condensation doesn't harm properly fitted film, but wipe it down and keep the room ventilated so the edges aren't left wet for long periods.

Usually inside, on the room side, where it's protected from weather and easy to clean. On double-glazed units only the exposed faces can be filmed, so the room side is the norm. Outdoor-grade films exist for glass that can't be reached from inside.
