Usually, but read the agreement first. Agreements normally set out whether cosmetic changes are allowed and what condition the car must be in when it goes back. A colour change will have to come off before return, and the paint underneath needs to be sound for that to go smoothly, so mention the lease when you ask for a price.

If the job needs it, yes. For signs fixed to a building, anything illuminated or work at height, we arrange a survey to measure, check the wall and plan access. For window graphics, lettering and many vehicle jobs, clear photos with measurements are often enough, and we only visit if something needs a closer look.

It helps. While the film is on, it shields the paint from sun fade, light scuffs and bird droppings, which is one reason some owners of newer cars choose a wrap over a respray. It isn't armour, though: a sharp stone or a car-park knock can still mark the film and occasionally the paint below.

A full colour change typically takes 2–4 days of fitting, and longer when door shuts are included or a lot of trim has to come off. Part wraps such as a roof or mirrors typically take a few hours to a day. The car needs to be clean, dry and indoors throughout, so plan for it to be away for the whole job.

That gives a fixed written price reflecting the real size, materials, access and any design or consent work. You only commit once you accept that price and approve the proof.
